The Truro ‘new town’ (5) – do we need 2,700 houses?

Using our earlier calculations for Cornwall, based on actual figures, we come up with two figures for houses needed in Truro between 2010 and 2030.

Steady state option = 192

Rising population option = 1,076

Thats it, not 2,700! [And that excludes all other houses for which permission has been granted].

[Figures based on Truro’s % share of all housing in 2011 – 4%]
