Developers call for more unnecessary development!

On Monday at ground-zero of the Concrete Cornwall and Bury Cornishness project, the so-called ‘examination’ of Cornwall Council’s Local Plan begins. Tomorrow, planning agents from any and everywhere east of the Tamar will be egging on the pliant government inspector to ramp up the housing target even higher, And the highest demand of all comes from Emery Planning of Macclesfield on behalf of Wainhomes. They think it should rise from a rate of 45,000 houses in the last 20 years to ‘at least 77,780’ in the next!
