From ‘Its Our Cornwall’
In the first 7 months of 2015 Cornwall Council’s Strategic Planning Committee gave permission for building sites amounting to over 3,000 houses and 183 hectares (or 452 acres in old money). That’s around the size of Wadebridge or Callington, or three quarters that of Hayle. In just over half a year. And on top of that Govt inspectors have allowed at least another 575 houses originally turned down by the committee. Is this what they mean by ‘sustainable development’?
Quite totally unsustainable!
