From ‘Its Our Cornwall’
The other week St Mellion ‘International’ Resort resubmitted its proposal for another 199 ‘golf homes’, given outline permission back in 2007. The planning officer recommended approval. Even though it ‘would introduce limited harm to the setting of nearby listed buildings and the local landscape’. This was outweighed by the ‘significant positive impact to [sic] economic growth objectives’.
Comment And why does St. Mellion need golf homes? And do these ‘homes’ get included in the homes target?
In fact how many ‘homes’ actually contribute to provide housing as distinct from holiday homes, holiday lets, investments etc?
