Excellent opinion piece in last week’s Wet Brit by the Celtic League’s Iwan Le Moine. (see One error though. A planning consultant is quoted as saying that Cornwall’s ‘building ratio to greenfield land is much smaller than the average in Britain’. No, it’s much larger. Never believe a ‘planning consultant’.

Comment One of the many myths that do the rounds is that we have less building than elsewhere, no its not true! Nor is it correct to think that there are lots of green empty spaces out there to build on – there’s not and oddly enough we need land to feed ourselves – where do people think Tesco get their food from?
