Scotland, Cornwall and the future

Scotland has spoken, for now the view is to stay in the union, though changes will be needed not just to satisfy those who voted yes but also those who voted no. Talk is of devolution across the UK.

Where does this place Cornwall? Now is the time for real progress on an Assembly for Cornwall, an Assembly with teeth.

And to all those who respond “We don’t want an Assembly” just think of the issues where Cornwall is restricted by central Government from introducing policies that suit Cornwall.

We need the Assembly, we need the powers and the representatives to implement them.

  1. Hi! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering
if you knew where I could get a captcha plugin for my comment form?
I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having difficulty finding one?
    Thanks a lot!
