How odd?


One of our Telegraph reading followers noted the following comment in an article mainly concerning immigration, housing and the economy.

Over the past two decades, for all the complaints about planning restrictions, the surpluses of dwellings over households in London and the South East has risen – we’ve built properties faster than the population of households has risen.

Well we number crunched the figures and found that household growth exceeded dwellings growth in London but was slightly below in the SE of England!
