Allocations Development Plan Document

Cornwall Council is planning to prepare an Allocations Development Plan Document (DPD) and feedback is sought on the intended nature and scope of the document.

The Allocations DPD will form part of Cornwall Council’s suite of planning documents, which are under the umbrella of the Local Plan: Strategic Policies document. To support the delivery of the Strategic Policies document, the Allocations DPD will look to allocate strategically important sites for housing, employment, infrastructure etc; as well as protect existing important employment sites.

Scoping document has been prepared, in accordance with regulation 18 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012,  which sets out what would be covered by the Allocations DPD, timescales for its development, etc. A joint notice of publication has also been produced.

Cornwall Council would like feedback on the proposals set out in the scoping report.

Feedback can be submitted via e-mail to the address at the right of this page or alternatively posted to Allocations DPD Scoping, Cornwall Council, Planning Delivery, Dolcoath Avenue, Camborne, TR14 8SX.

The deadline for the submission of comments is 5pm Friday 20th December 2013.
