A recent report reveals that the Homechoice register is flawed:
There is a crisis in housing in Cornwall, but this is primarily about affordability – not availability. The ‘Homechoice’ database does show significant need, but continues to be used uncritically. A review of the 26,500 households on the register shows that the source needs careful and thorough interrogation before being used as evidence to justify large-scale housing growth.
Comment Yes it is used uncritically and as the term goes ‘it is not fit for purpose’
